Un rumore in cucina

Posizione perfetta a due passi dal Teatro Massimo in zona tranquilla, poco turistica e con diverse attività e botteghe di quartiere. A due passi dal Mercato del Capo. Appartamento molto ampio. Proprietaria cordiale e super disponibile!

Purtroppo non si può migliorare. questo aspetto. L'appartamento è un po' buio. Forse sarebbe meglio installare un illuminazione interna diversa...la mattina la cucina era un po' buia. Per il resto niente da dire.

The location and the high quality of the windows which kept the noise from the streets at bay (to an extent). Can’t imagine how noisy it would get without those windows. We enjoyed the size of the apartment too. And the plenty of storage space for clothes etc.

A lot of issues and let downs unfortunately. This apartment isn’t ideal in the winter. It gets cold in Palermo, and the apartment doesn’t have a heating fixed system (radiators). There is only one AC unit which can be used as a heater but it didn’t always work during our stay. There were two portable heating units (the ones which emit a bright light) which we couldn’t keep on for long as the electricity would short circuit. In fact, electricity was a huge problem as it kept short circuiting when we used other appliances like kettle etc. we had to go downstairs in the building “lobby” every time to manually switch it back on (a nightmare when we were showering for example). The cleaning was also not great, up to the expected price standard. When we arrived one of the toilets was dirty and we had to use the toilet brush to clean the bottom of it (I thought it was stained, but it wasn’t…). The house hadn’t been open in a while probably and it needed air - the smell of “closed”?was overpowering and we couldn’t get it to go away without opening the windows for long (in the dead of winter and without proper heating it was impossible). The bedding was set up for summer, a very light blanket and nothing else. The management at check in suggested to use the blanket in the wardrobe if we felt cold. We needed it from the first night and it was in the most disgusting condition - smelly, without cover and with stains. Anyone could have used it and it wasn’t properly washed. Lastly, just a watch out that the walls are extremely thin so from the bedroom you can hear the apartment next door, which wasn’t ideal given they watched tv until sometimes 1-2 am.
