Good location with good parking options on roads nearby

Tight stairs with low ceilings so son fell down the stairs first time and I knocked my head a few times.

Trevligt. Mysigt. Härlig trädgård. Bra kök. Nära till stranden och centrum. Trevliga sovrum.

Allt var bra. Men det skulle vara bra om man fixade en till sänglampa till rummet med två sängar. Soptunnorna var inte tömda utanför huset heller.

Ease of access to town centre and all public transport, Central heating and hot water worked well. Quiet area of town. Generous provision of items like cling film, tea bags etc.

Staircase was steep and narrow so not suitable for persons with walking difficulties. Light switches in inconvenient positions.

The company renting the property, The Island Holiday Company was very response to our questions and inquiries. The location was on a nice quiet street

The "cottage" was mediocre. We managed to make meals in the kitchen quite successfully even though the room was in need of upgrading. The whole place looked very thrown together, and a bit hodge-podge. There was no "charm" or quirkiness to make it special. The stairs going up to the bedroom were treacherous, steep and curving, especially for us, both 78, but we were careful and had no close calls. I could not sleep in the double bed with my husband because of the bed being next to the wall in the small room. Crawling up from the bottom was nearly impossible, so I slept in one of the single beds. Getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night would have been a challenge in the double bed! The sitting room was characterless. The bathroom, however, was pleasant with a good shower. There were fire evacuation instructions posted, but still it would be a difficult house to leave in an emergency. The upstairs windows all had a locked wire keeping them from being opened for more than perhaps 6-8 inches. A fire blanket and extinguisher were available.
