About this cabin rental
Tastefully furnished, Woodside Lodge is one of two lodges set in the grounds of Arethusa Cottage, within Pig Leg Lane 'natural' nature reserve. It is secluded, but within walking distance to Ryde town and beach. Available to book all year round, it sleeps two in a double bedroom, with a large sofa bed for up to two extra guests in living area.
The living space opens onto a gated private decking area with seating and gas BBQ. The lodge has a full kitchen and a modern wet room style bathroom with shower (no bath). Guests have use of owners garden with seating areas and a large pond with koi carp.
Dogs welcome - walks in the nature reserve right on the doorstep or on the fields a few minutes walk away, plus Appley beach locally is dog friendly all year.
Guests have use of an indoor heated swimming pool (open from February half term to October half term inclusive), shared with guests at one other lodge.
The immediate area is quiet although the Island Train Line runs a short distance away and the trains can be heard from the property (it's not a busy line though).
We offer trade rate ferry travel with both Wightlink and Red Funnel.
Both lodges offered with Arethusa Cottage Holiday Lodges - 'Woodside' and 'Monktonmead' - can be booked together for families or groups up to 10 people, discounted rate applies.

If your considering booking this property don't give it a second thought and book it! Excellent from start to finish a real gem found and we will be back one day soon as we all loved it. Great hosts, lovely pool and amazing memories made.

We had a lovely week. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, communication prior to, and during our stay was excellent with help and advice just a WhatsApp message away. The lodge is lovely, clean and well stocked. It was great to be able to let our dog run free in the beautiful gardens and thank you so much for looking after him for the day while we visited the local animal sanctuary. Although the weather wasn't great during our stay, the lodge had all the facilities you need for a wet holiday and we really enjoyed using the pool. We loved seeing all the wildlife especially the red squirrels, woodpeckers and Jays on the birdfeeders right outside the bedroom window. Thanks again, Sue and Paul, hope to see you again soon.

The property is wonderful, with peaceful surroundings and the added bonus of a really nice pool that you can actually swim in. The Lodge is comfortable and clean with top class amenities.
