Location was quite big plenty of room everything we needed was in the appartment all clean

Lovely furnished apartment. Excellent location. 5 minute walk to the beautiful High Street. 10 minute walk to Ryde Esplanade for all buses and the train. And also the catamaran and the hovercraft

This flat is in a great location. Easy walk to bus stops and the ferry. Host company did resolve a couple issues, but after 2 messages and a phone call = I think phoning is best option. Replaced kettle which had been unusable for quite some time. Kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, fridge, stove, cleaning supplies.

This place on first impression gives a neglected feel. It seems it is not cleaned other than what the previous guest has done. Check out is at 10am, and one is asked to wash and put away dishes, strip bedding, vacuum, sweep floor. However, check in is not allowed until 5pm. Other than make beds and replace the towels, it appears their cleaners do nothing else in those 7 hours. I feel for the price involved, I expected a more comfortable stay. The listing also needs an update, it is not mentioned the flat is a basement unit for those with mobility issues. It also mentions a fireplace in the living room, which is not accurate. When I messaged the host to thank him for the new kettle, I also mentioned the lack of cleaning and offered to send photos, but he never replied. So I will mention here so perhaps it will be seen and addressed. The living room window had an outside plant growing in and spider webs. The TV stand is cracked, basically in half, I would hate to be blamed for that, but also gives the appearance of an uncared for place. The bathroom did not appear clean. There's mold in the shower and shower head had a large amount of build up on it. I get it may be hard water, etc, but it's very off putting to see. We did wipe it off. The window does not secure. The kitchen toaster and teflon frying pan need replaced. The pan is most likely unhealthy to use. There is not a way to turn on the vent fan over the stove, but it also is dusty and dirty. (the window does not open, so you cannot vent any steam, etc). There's cracks in the walls and dings and scuffs all over, which is not that important, but the place needs a little TLC. Also with the heating, it was chilly and windy when we arrived (and during our stay) but the system was not set to heat. The welcome booklet did not give proper instructions to work the thermostat, but we figured it out.
