Castaway on Mook

De gastvrijheid en het meedenken van John bij onze vragen en het slapen in de luxe tent (glamping) in de natuur. Het ontbijt wordt al alom geprezen, wij voegen daar graag nog de voortreffelijke koffie aan toe.

Helemaal niks

Very lovely quiet little place, we stayed in one of the smaller self contained cabins which was comfortable, clean and had great air con. The garden was well maintained which was great for spotting butterflies. Short walk to Charlie beach which was amazing for an early morning swim and was pretty easy to get a taxi if you wanted to get a lift into the town center. The owners were lovely, I would stay with Goy again if I am on Ko Muk as I thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality. Also, they had filtered water so you could fill up your bottle which was a great touch.

Everything you have read in the reviews is right except that Castaway EXCEEDED our expectations (and with the reviews they were high!) The welcoming faces, the coffee, the muesli and the comfy beds it’s all spot on! Charlie beach just a short walk away with the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen! This is a magical place, full of heart where we felt at home the moment we arrived. In this beautiful piece of paradise you can truly escape. Sitting outside our fancy tent listening to the birds (next to a fully stocked beer fridge) and looking at the little lights, it’s like a piece of heaven. Every detail is considered in making your stay here feel like home and we just loved our time with everyone here. Thank you all for such a special time and wonderful memories. Can’t wait to return!

Leaving was so hard!

Had the best stay at castaway. We were in the tent which was v fun, clean and comfortable! The place is so green and stunning. John- we love you! Warmest most accommodating host who helped us with everything. Still dreaming of your breakfast. Also highly recommend doing the yoga next door. Great location 10 minute walk from beach. We’ll be back one day 🤞
