Great location Well presented and ideal for a large family gathering

The accommodation was beautiful. Exceptionally decorated and extremely well equipped. Great location and very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the accommodation is not really fit for purpose. The house itself was beautiful but it is exceptionally close to the neighbours and we had the gentleman next door round on both nights we stayed complaining about noise. The house is advertised as accepting Hen parties and provides a theme room with karaoke but it also states you have to be quiet by 10am. We were up till 1.30pm on the first evening, in the themed room in the basement with all the doors closed as suggested at the property but I do accept it was loud. The neighbour was apologised to and we were then very conscious the following evening. We played games in the main sitting room and by 11.30 most people had retired for the evening leaving just 4 people having a quiet chat. Again we had the neighbour round complaining who said he could hear every word we were saying, which in itself is very concerning. This tainted what was otherwise a brilliant weekend. I really think the owners need to have a look at the advertising of this property as 15 people altogether are going to be loud and expecting people who are away for a weekend celebrating to be quiet (not even talking) by 10pm is totally unrealistic. I had sympathy for the neighbour as it was not his fault that the property is being advertised to allow large groups including Hen parties, and I may add we cannot be the most unruly group of ladies to have stayed there with ages ranging from late thirties to early 60’s so I can only see this as an ongoing problem. So in summary, this property is amazing and in a great location but is definitely not fit for anyone wanting to stay up later than 10pm.

Beautiful property in a good location that was a 10 minute walk from the City centre. Perfect for our needs and stay in Harrogate.

All was excellent although the shower on the 3rd floor needs care when using to avoid getting water on the bathroom tiles that will get slippy.
