The House on Main is one of two houses that are on this property in downtown Brevard. There will be times that other guests, or the hosts, will be staying in the cottage next door.
Being located in the walkable center of town does, at times, come with the accompanying sounds of a town center: People walking by, yard work machinery, other homeowners doing house projects and remodeling, and the sounds of a vibrant restaurant as a direct neighbor.
The House on Main is a separate building and has its dedicated entrance(s) and its own driveway/parking. Guests have access to the entire House, its front yard, front porch, and side porch. There is room for two cars in the off Kitchen driveway.

Great location for 2 who enjoy walking around Brevard. Nice driveway. House was clean and supplied well. Bed was too firm for our liking and pillows were stiff, but duvet was quite nice. TV in both bedroom and living room. Wonderful sitting room and porches. House has a lot of character!

Yamile and Mike's amazing house in Brevard is just as it appears: beautiful, comfortable, and homey. I was in the Brevard area for my third annual retreat week I give myself to read, paint, hike, etc. This was the first time I stayed in town rather than in the woods. The house is close to everything, is on a corner lot filled with azaleas, peonies, and large trees. The front porch is a lovely place to have morning coffee and watch the Brevard world wake up. Nearby Bracken Preserve is a great hike as is John Rock in Pisgah National Park. Downtown has great galleries, a wonderful bookstore and lots of great restaurants (2 of which are in renovated houses right next to the VRBO, noise was NOT an issue). Highly recommend this craftsman style bungalow!
