Just half an hour from Ashville, 2 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 hours from Columbia, SC and 4 hours from Charleston, SC; it’s a perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Come relax and rejuvenate in the clean air of the mountains and enjoy all that this home has to offer.
The cottage is a charmingly restored cottage with two bedrooms with two queen beds which share a full bath with tub and shower. Beautiful original hardwood floors are found throughout and a large eat in kitchen with seating for 6. A fully equipped kitchen with stove and dishwasher will also greet you. This retreat is perfect for two couples or a family looking to enjoy all that Brevard and its surrounding areas has to offer.
Take your pick on where to kick your feet up. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace in the living room with a glass of wine or relax on the porch swing with your coffee on the expansive front porch. Quaint cottage with easy access to town. We were there for an ultra race & the venue was not far away. Enjoyed first time in Brevard & spotting a white squirrel.

I read some of the other reviews, and I agree with the lady who said she stayed there with her daughter because that’s exactly what I did. Since we have family that lives on the circle, a cousin who was walking by indicated that they could see straight into the house into the bedroom, where my 17-year-old daughter was staying and because that made her so uncomfortable she would not sleep in that front room. There are very thin shears over the window, but it could use blinds to make female occupants feel more secure. I could not find a toaster and there was no accessible microwave so that made it difficult to fix breakfast. And then when I pulled a pan out to use the oven, the pan was covered in brown grease. so to make any improvements, coverings for the windows need to be upgraded along with appliances for the kitchen and that would make it a much better stay.
