About this house rental
This comfortable home has two bedrooms, two full baths, an electric fireplace (no mess) inside and fire-pit outside. A fenced backyard with covered deck provides a sense of privacy, yet so close to town; a perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking/biking in nearby forests, seeking out the many waterfalls, or walking to town to enjoy the shops, restaurants, brewery and more!
White squirrels are regular visitors. Other features include two flat screen TVs, cable, WIFI, washer/dryer, central heat and air, and BBQ grill.
Brevard is a perfect home base and only a short drive to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Forest, and other attractions like the Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, NC Nature Center, the Carl Sandburg home and the professional, NC State Theater known as Flat Rock Playhouse.

Wonderful weekend at the Blue Bungalow! I loved that we could walk to the stores and restaurants, s convenient. It was a getaway for my husband and myself, along with our pups. Having a level fenced yard was great.

Came down from Tennessee for a quick trip to meet my son (from Charlotte) to fly fish the Davidson River. So didn't do much in the house besides sleep and hang out at the fire pit around back in the evening. The gas fire pit is a nice touch, especially on a beautiful fall evening!Location is awesome. You can drive to downtown Brevard using a back street, a straight shot, 5 minutes. Very clean and functional.We will definitely be planning more trips to the area and see no reason to look at other rentals if available.
