Our townhouse is surrounded by wooded areas and backs to a small pond so it is very private and peaceful. We are 2 miles from the beach and downtown Bethany boardwalk with plenty of restaurants, shopping, boardwalk and attractions.
The home is located in the Salt Pond Community, a family friendly resort and golf community located on a 90-acre saltwater pond and surrounded by an 18 hole public golf course. Walkable amenities include an outdoor pool (May - September), tennis and pickleball courts, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, and a clubhouse with a heated indoor pool and spa (open September-June only) and fitness equipment. Golf course fees are affordable and charged separately.
The garage is available to store beach equipment and bikes and Kayaks. You can bring your own or rent a kayak to use in the canals or on the Salt Pond. There are ample opportunities to bike around Salt Pond, to the beach or at Cape Henlopen State Park, along the Assawoman Canal, and on other trails.
The first-floor offers a well-appointed kitchen, dining area with a dining table to seat 8 and a living room that looks out to the screened porch and deck area that overlooks the pond. There is a gas grill available to use on the deck area.
There is also a powder room and washer and dryer.
Upstairs we have one main ensuite bedroom and 2 additional bedrooms share a full bathroom. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and spacious closets.
Things to know: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area.
Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. No pets are allowed.
There is free parking for 2 cars. Activity passes are provided for pool and clubhouse usage. There is a $150 per pass charge for lost passes.
A Ring doorbell exists on the front door and provides security as well as an indoor Chime to alert you to someone ringing the bell.

Excellent townhome, described perfectly by owners. Great location to Rehoboth, Bethany and Ocean City beaches/boardwalks. If in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here. The house was clean, comfortable and well-stocked for everything we needed in terms of cooking. We enjoyed many meals on the screened porch, walks to the Salt Pond and trips to the swimming pool. The community was very accessible to all of our favorite things in Bethany/Ocean View. Check in was smooth. We hope to rent here again next summer.
