I didn’t expect a room in a house in a back alley (where even my uber couldn’t even enter) with self-help entry by code. The receptionist came from another building nearby. She promised to send me the passcode by email but I didn’t receive it. I had to fetch her in the “main” building to get the passcode. There is no air-con. When we asked her about it, she said if it was too hot, just open the balcony door. But the problem with that is that there are restaurants downstairs and the noises can’t be kept out! When I booked, I initially booked 3 nights, from 21 to 23. But the airline changed schedule and I extended my stay. I decided to take a short trip to Meteroa. So I asked whether I can change my stay from 21, 22, 23 to 21, 22, 24, then add one night on 27. But I was told the change from 23 to 24 could only be accommodated if I changed to a suite and the extra (for the updated) would be EUR 113, which would be just about the charge for an extra night (not counting 27). Effectively I would be charged for an extra night. But I didn’t need upgrade for the first two nights because I booked already. The updated for one night can’t be Eur 113! I didn’t find the conversation conducted in bona fide. I decided to book my two extra nights (24, 27) elsewhere. I paid even less for each night even though I had to forfeit the stay on 23. When I checked in I was told breakfast wasn’t included. But I just checked my Agoda confirmation and it says breakfast is included. I am going to find out tomorrow. Hopefully I won’t have more negative things to say.

Didn’t get the correct room I paid for. Didn’t complain. My travel colleague had the same room I did - which still was lovely.

Self entry with a pin code. Super clean, super comfortable and superb location! Staff is responsive (although I literally didnt see anyone the whole trip!) and the room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed, couch, modern & large flatscreen TV, spacious shower and we had the junior suite so very spacious bathtub as well. My only hesitations though would be - no parking, no pool and no view. Although all of those are difficult to fin in this area altogether. There was paid parking very close by for 25 EU per 24 hours and you can come and go as you please. Most buildings are fairly low so balconies with a view are uncommon. And in general the streets and building are very cluttered so having a pool and onsite parking is rare as well. Overall, great place for a fair price, super clean and convenient in an excellent location.
