I wanted to stay somewhere near Gyeongbokgung without paying too much, and this place turned out to be a good choice. Many hanok-style accommodations in the area are quite expensive, but this one was reasonably priced and still offered a traditional atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean. It was quiet, and I was able to rest well. What impressed me most was the bed. I have a bad back, so I’m usually picky about mattresses. This one was firm and very comfortable—probably the best I’ve slept on during any of my travels. The host told me it was a high-end mattress, and I believe it. The bathroom and shower were on the small side, but they were clean and easy to use. It felt more like a unique part of the hanok experience rather than a problem. The host was polite, quick to respond, and helpful. The location was also convenient—close to palaces, restaurants, and places to walk around. If you're visiting from abroad, I think staying at a place like this could be a meaningful way to experience Korean culture. It’s not luxurious, but it has its charm—and for someone curious about local life, it might be a better choice than a hotel.

The bathroom was compact, but considering the traditional layout of the house, I think it’s part of the experience. Still, some travelers might prefer more space.
