Very comfortable space, with everything you may need! Near metro and bus station, supermarkets, museum and attractions! The host is great and gave some nice recommendations!

The apartment 313 is very well located, within easy reach of many of Seoul’s main tourist attractions. The host was exceptionally kind and attentive. She gave us plenty of useful information and responded quickly whenever we reported a problem. She cleaned the air-conditioning filter, provided earplugs and replaced the winter duvet with lighter summer bedding. Her helpfulness was outstanding compared with many other hosts we have stayed with. The apartment also had plenty of useful amenities, more than most of the other accommodation we used in Korea. A few more plates and knives would nevertheless be useful. Some furniture and facilities were a little old, but this was already visible in the photos.

The main issue was the bedroom air conditioner. It produced vibrations and whistling noises that made it difficult to sleep. Cleaning the very dirty filter improved it, but it was still noisy. The airflow was also directed straight towards the bed, so we had to use tape to keep the flap pointing upwards. Given Seoul’s summer heat and humidity, the unit should ideally be replaced for a state of the art one or complemented with a quiet ceiling fan and a dehumidifier. Booking offered another similar apartment that appeared to have a more modern tower air conditioner. We chose this one because the table looked larger, but the other option might have been more comfortable in summer. The bed was very hard. It consisted of a spring mattress with a topper, but a slightly softer pocket-sprung mattress would provide much better comfort. The towels had a slight damp smell, as did the washing machine. We found mould around the rubber seal and had to clean it and run a hot cleaning cycle. The shared washers and dryers on the first floor were much faster and left the clothes drier and less wrinkled.
