We self catered. The facilities were excellent for that. We chose Gansbaai because we wanted to explore the Southernmost point, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. The apartment was up one flight of stairs and the hosts helped with the luggage.
Gansbaai is very residential, so there is nothing much to explore near the property. The BBQ is internal, which is great in the Winter but not when we were there, in Summer.

It was a beautiful, clean and comfortable place to stay.

Modern new house with private entrance, good equiped kitchen, fire place in spacious living room and nice comfy bed. There is a sea view from the house and locality is quiet and safe. Chris and Laetitia are very friendly.
The bathroom is compact with a tiny sink, but nicely designed.
