Magical get-away in the snow
It's a stunning location - we had worried it might feel overlooked but we had lovely views of snowy trees and felt very private. The host was extremely helpful in advance and there were thoughtful details in the property to make our stay easy. It all felt magical!
The only issue was outside of the host's control - the power cuts (probably not helped by being there while it was snowing). Luckily, the house has excellent insulation and a beautiful fire, plenty of candles and the ability to cook with gas, so we turned the power cuts into a cosy experience ;-)
