The gîte des 2 Lacs welcomes you to the emblematic village of La Godivelle, at an altitude of 1200 m, located in the Puy-de-Dôme, in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, between the Massif du Sancy and the Cantal mountains.
This exceptional natural setting is ideal for holidays with family, friends or a group, with a capacity of up to 15 people.
The strong point of the gîte des 2 Lacs is undoubtedly its large living room of more than 60 m², fitted out in a completely restored old stable.
This warm space, with its exposed stones, its table football and its authentic atmosphere, is ideal for sharing convivial moments.

The cottage takes its name from its unique location, near two remarkable lakes:
- Le Lac d'en Haut, a spectacular circular maar lake of volcanic origin
- Le Lac d'en Bas, a peat bog lake of glacial origin, within the Sagnes nature reserve, a true treasure trove of biodiversity
These lakes are an integral part of the Cézallier.
It is ideally located for exploring:
- La Godivelle, its huge fountain and the surroundings
- The hiking trails of the Sagnes plateau. Cézallier
- The Puy de Sancy, the highest point in the Massif Central
- the volcanoes of the Chaîne des Puys, listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site
But also to savour the delicacies of Auvergne such as Saint-Nectaire, Cantal, Truffade and meet the farmers.
