The perfect last night of our French adventure.

We absolutely loved it! What a way to arrive by row boat to your house boat for the night. We even got a delicious dinner in a hamper to take across. It was perfect with cows and calves as neighbours and a chorus of Frogs. A brilliant place for children to be free and for adults to unwind.

Must have been great in its prime

The quite location was wonderful and we had a great night sleep in the peaceful surroundings.

The facility is showing signs of age with clear indication that maintenance is required e.g trampoline broken, pool shower not working, painting required, etc. Nevertheless we had a nice peaceful stay

very goog for one or two nights

The cottages are very cute. We had a chalet "Cabane Magique" and a chalet "Foudre", both stayed for one night and it was adequate. The place was very quiet, the staff very nice, the breakfast delicious.

We had a lot of ants in the house, which was not so nice.

Good

We slept in one of the "Foudre" (an old huge wine barrel), which was a lot of fun. Of course, the space is very limited, but there is normal-sized bed, a toilet, shower and even a little kitchen with microwave and everything. You can go and get your breakfast basket at the bar and then have breakfast in front of the foudre on your very own terrace. Location is also good, at the border of a small lake. The walk across the bridge and into the village takes maybe 10-15min.

Price for breakfast was rather high, for what you get. But there are not a lot of other options, so there you go...

Location was good.

We chose a night in the wine barrel. A little too small for us. Facilities inside were altogether too cramped. Entrance steps dangerous, the need repair.

Perfect overnight stop on boat. Loved rowing out to boat on lake. Swimming pool a bonus. Pleasant walk into town for dinner.Very friendly helpful staff.

Clean chalet, friendly staff, nice location, 20 min walk to center, where we enjoyed a nice dinner at Le relais de canalou

The picture of the chalet shows a fridge, but there wasn't one in cabin Merlin. The chalet was smaller than we anticipated.

Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich! Für eine kurze Nacht war es ok, ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis.

Wir waren in einem der beiden Fässer untergebracht, die zwar erstaunlich gut ausgestattet sind aber in denen es natürlich sehr beengt ist. Da es in der Nacht heftig geregnet hat wurden wir nicht nur von den zahlreichen Mücken, sondern auch von Wassertropfen geweckt. Zuviel Natur für uns.

Nous étions 4 , 2 adultes et 2 enfants de 9 et 5ans. Pour dîner le soir " 3 chaises" hautes pour 4 ! (pas assez hautes pour des enfants ) pour dîner sur le bar ou sur une table en verre très lourde que l’on devait relevé a 2.. et comble "3 petites cuillères" pour le dessert Pourquoi 3 alors que j’ai payé pour 4 personnes

Le calme ,la déconnection et la gentillesse du personnel.

Entretien un peu juste ( fenêtre cassée) ,manque de matériel (1 transat pour 2). Un passage délimité pour accéder à notre hébergement aurait été agréable pour éviter d avoir les pieds mouillés (herbes)

Allesamt wunderbar kreative Unterkünfte. Waren leider nur ein Tag auf der Durchreise an diesem besonderen Ort. Alles sehr sauber.

Leider kein Restaurant am Platz - aber das ist eigentlich kein Problem: In 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß über der Loire im Stadtzentrum von Digoin (mit dem Auto keine 5 Minuten).

Wir waren schon mehrfach dort, alles soweit in Ordnung. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. An- und Abreise problemlos, auch außerhalb der Normalzeit. Wäscheausstattung vollständig und gepflegt. Der Pool ist vor allem an heißen Tagen super. Ruhige Lage.

Unser Hausboot war nicht ganz so ordentlich geputzt, wie an den vorherigen Aufenthalten (deshalb eine kleine Abwertung). Insgesamt aber völlig in Ordnung!

les roulottes trop près les unes des autres, malgré le calme, se manque d'intimité nous a un peu dérangé ainsi que l'odeur des fosses septiques.

Atypique, nuit dans un bateau sur un petit lac dans un campus très reposant et agréable

Tres atypique, nuit dans un petit bateau. Endroit calme et reposant. Piscine, animaux, jeux idéal aussi pour les familles. Personnel accueillant, petit déjeuner très bien. Il a fait beau, super pour voir les étoiles !

Ce serait bien d’avoir une feuille explicative dans le bateau pour savoir comment gérer les pompes de vidange. Ce serait aussi bien que Booking mentionne bien que c’est un bateau, assez petit, avec accès ou pas en bateau à rames. Car pour certains cela peut être un problème. Et s’il fait pas beau, peu d’espace à l’abri disponible.

Principe sympa mais très mauvais rapport qualité prix par rapport au confort

Le domaine est sympathique, bien placé pour profiter d’une journée à Le Pal. Concept original.

Nous avions réservé 2 nuits pour 5 personnes. Or, l’état de la literie était tellement mauvais qu’il a été impossible d’utiliser le clic-clac, et le lit destiné aux enfants était extrêmement inconfortable. Seul le lit parental était correct, mais nous avons dû y dormir à trois… Lorsque nous avons signalé le problème à l’accueil, la réponse a été : « On est au courant, on a prévu de le changer ». Dans ce cas, il serait préférable de ne pas louer la péniche pour 5 personnes tant que les aménagements ne sont pas adaptés. De plus, à notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé une casserole posée au sol. Nous avons compris en allumant la climatisation qu’elle servait à récupérer une partie des fuites importantes de l’appareil.

Le logement!! Nous avons réservé un chalet sur booking, et nous sommes retrouvée dans une barque, à priori problème de référencement dans booking. Le bateau était petit et sans aucune fenêtre, une odeur nauséabonde dans la cabine du au système de cale du bateau qui est juste sous le lit. Chaleur + odeur - fenêtre = 🤢

Globalement joli séjour

Le couple qui nous a accueilli était formidable, aux petits soins ! Malgré le fait que tous deux soient bien occupés, ils ont toujours été super disponibles et ont eu a coeur de régler les petits soucis de début de séjour, toujours avec le sourire. C'est ce que nous retiendrons avant tout. Petit coin avec jeux a disposition plutôt très sympa, mais mérite un petit coup de frais avec des jeux complets.

A notre arrivée, ménage très léger : mégots sur la terrasse notamment. Les plaques chauffantes ne sont pas efficaces du tout, et la climatisation non plus, c'était donc un peu compliqué en pleine canicule. Les toues manquent d’un petit coup de fraîcheur, le mobilier extérieur est très vieillissant et pas adapté pour 4 (la table notamment), c'est un peu dommage, car il y a un énorme potentiel !
