The location was great.

When we arrived it appeared that the apartment wasn't ready for new guests to arrive. We had to search for the bedding for the sofa bed which we found bundled up in a shopping bag under the sofa. There was no toilet roll - zero. There was also no shower gel or shampoo which were both listed as provided amenities. The hand towel at the sink was damp and dirty - clearly not changed from the previous guests. When I contacted the host to let him know we had no toilet paper and needed a clean towel, he agreed to provide for us - but we still had to buy our own toilet paper as three rolls were provided for three people for one week. The next morning I realised we had no shower gel or shampoo and so messaged politely to explain. The host was frustrated with me and repsonded rudely to my message. I said I understood it was the fault of the property managers but he didn't need to be rude to me. He said that I should have told him sooner but I tried to explain that I hadn't realised at the time as it was late and we just wanted to sleep. My husband already had gone out to buy toilet roll - a basic amenity. We stayed for a week and we never received a fresh towel, or the replacement hand towel for the dirty one which I requested. I then saw him come to refresh apartments himself when we were waiting for our uber when leaving. This place is also rented out on Airbnb and I can see what is provided by the host, none of which was provided to us.
