Beautiful accommodation and surroundings

It was quite difficult to find the accommodation but well worth the effort when we did find the property. Missed having a full length mirror. The freezer was so smelly we couldn’t use it.

Location was excellent for exploring Nidderdale and the surrounding areas, Pateley Bridge, Masham, Ripon etc. Cottage was easy to find. And there is a "Cake Cupboard" adjoining the wall, open at the weekend, so a constant supply of home made cakes was very useful.

The bathroom was the opposite end of the cottage to the bedroom. And the dishwasher was in the utility room, not the kitchen. So layout was a bit quirky. But the main annoyance was the neighbours rooting around in the store cupboard/garage directly beneath the bed, at a rather early hour (before 8am on one day) which woke us up. I had expected the kitchen to be more well stocked with basic cooking ingredients and the bathroom with shower gel, but they weren't. Alsoo the mugs were all tiny.... which made the morning cup of tea rather lacking 🤣

Spacious yet cosy. Great layout & balcony off the bedroom made all the difference as nice to have an outside space. Had all the amenities you could need & welcome gifts were a lovely touch to arrive to.

Very comfortable, clean & well equipped cottage in pleasant village. Spacious for 2 people, nicely furnished with new kitchen & bathroom. Lovely view from exterior balcony.

Very disappointed that no view from any of the rooms, especially the bedroom as assumed there would be a window or at least glass panels in the door so could enjoy the view. Unfortunately the opaque covering on the inner sitting room window made it rather claustrophobic despite it being light and spacious.
