Central location

No hooks or anything to hang towels consequently they did not dry. Not much space in lounge area or seats - luckily there were only 2 of us. Cutlery was sparse .

A beautifully decorated cottage located in a charming village.

Lovely interior, nice balance of modern and original features. Very quiet. The bottle of wine and crisps on arrival was a nice touch. Opposite the cottage was a 'cake cupboard' were you could purchase home made cakes which were very nice. Local pub was 5 minutes walk away.

Initial supply of tea bags and toilet paper could have been better quality.

Modern look. Comfortable beds. All the kitchen facilities you would need for self catering. Off road parking.

The attention to detail of the cleaning was poor. There was a large clump of hair on the corridor floor outside the bedrooms/bathroom, numerous cobwebs around the property and debris under the coffee machine and toaster. The view from the back garden was disappointing as we hoped it would overlook fields not a grass mound and a road which got quite busy at times. The bathroom floor became very wet around the toilet after having a shower so anyone else wanting to use the toilet need to be aware of this. We also didn’t appreciate a text reminder ‘although polite’ at 7.00am the morning of leaving to make sure we left on time.
