Yurtshire Eavestone Lake - Willow

A gorgeous yurt and site as a whole. We loved been away from the hussle and the bustle and getting back to nature.

Loved the location, loved the yurt and the hot tub and the surroundings. Honestly hats off to the team for making something like this available. Loved the lack of Internet :) 👍

We arrived half hour early, so expected to wait. The staff saw us waiting and didnt say hi or greet us in any way. When they were ready to check us in (15mins after the check in time) we felt a little deflated as we just got a "Are you checking in?". No "sorry for your wait" or even "hi how are you, did you find us ok?". On the second day we were out most of the day and when we came to use the hot tub it was murky with floating white bits which was disappointing as there was no net or any visible way to empty and refill so couldn't use.

Loved the location, really felt like you were off the grid. Lake is beautiful and peaceful. The yurt is so cute, spacious and has everything you need. Well lit, perfect little bbq area and the bathroom was clean and warm.

We came in March during a very wet cold time, it was very cold in the evenings. Could have provided glasses in the tent as we only had mugs.

The principle of the place is good

There is no person on site after 5pm with a lake fire pits pizza ovens saunas etc for safety there should be and as you dont get a signal even though you are told to phone if there is an issue you cant Price for extras which should just be included like pizza oven and hot tub heating Cleanliness the shower dripped constantly was moldy and not pleasant Shower screen dirty General feel isn't luxury Bedding stained and no fan even though it gets incredibly hot And due to being bitten by horseflys had to spend our time inside the yurt not on the balcony Should state the hills and access issues to getting to and from places While it was relaxing to do nothing I feel like its not what we thought it was going to be
