Hashi Villa - Weligama Bay

Fantastic location, you can see the beach at the end of the road, it's a 2 mins walk down a calm lane shaded by coconut trees. It's down the quiet end of the beach with more gentle waves and near some good beach side restaurants (Fujisan). The Villa is an apartment up a flight of stairs with three en suite rooms (two doubles with mosquito nets) with large bathrooms with shower, basin and toilet each. Top floor is a private open air kitchen, great to fix a simple breakfast while looking over the palm trees. Rooms are simple but comfortable with large comfy beds and a really decent bathroom each. Main room has air con and fan, others have a fan, there are doors between each allowing you to use just one or all three rooms. The family hosting are very kind and helpful and made us feel really welcomed with giving us full privacy also. This place is perfect if you are looking for convenience, quiet and easy access to the beach, we spent the days getting surf lessons for the kids and enjoying good food close by, amazing value for money!

Everything was great, this is amazing value for money for a simple home stay that is comfortable and convenient, we'll be back.
