Great Place to Stay

Great location! Central for all amenities and right next door to the Pub. Well equipped and good storage. The books on the shelf were a lovely touch. Lovely cozy & warm with heaters. Recommendations- Information pack including WiFi code would be helpful along with a few cleaning items like a cloth & dustpan & brush. I had a spill on the kitchen floor and had to use the teatowel to clean up. Also for anyone staying, ignore Google Maps location as it is next door to the pub, but on the other side of the driveway into the car park. Parking is also situated in the White Swan pub car park.

Great location for east coast

Great location for Filey GC. In a nice small town. Lots of parking on site. The Pub attached served carvery which we didn’t know about and had booked to eat elsewhere. Would have eaten at the Swan Inn had we known. Breakfast was optional in the pub, which we did sample and was very nice and value for money.

In the main the ‘cottage’ was spotless apart from the shower head which needed de-scaling. Also, the double bed was ok but small for such a large bedroom. Would highly recommend a king sized bed be considered for guests looking to have a good nights sleep. All that being said, would recommend for a short stay and would stay again.

An external door in the living room which had a bookcase infront of it needs sealing up properly as it let in a lot of noise, people we outside of the pub next door and we could clearly hear what was been said

mouldy dirty bathroom floor and fittings, lighting in living room much too bright and stark, pub noise at night, no cafetierre, TV had a tired screen.

Lovely comfy base to explore the Yorkshire coast from

I had one of the best nights sleep I have had for a long time in this super comfy bed. The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. The apartment was more than I expected with everything I would have needed to stay for longer. It was very clean throughout. I stayed during a heatwave but because the building is old it had very thick walls so inside was beautifully cool. I will definitely come back to stay for longe

Good location.

Great location making it easy for visiting surrounding area's. A spacious apartment with free parking.

Although thoroughly clean sadly the apartment was let down by the bathroom and as previous guests had commented we also found mould around the bath tiles, badly pitted vinyl floor, paint flaking from the ceiling and the plastic bath panel splattered with old paint. Also the internal doors require attention for proper closure. A little bit of maintenance would make this a great stay in our opinion.

Large lounge, kitchen and bedroom. Looked like newly refurbished with grey furniture, a very comfortable L shaped sofa. Great parking. Pub next door for meals.

It's was a perfect village location, the cottage was well appointed and a good specification throughout. All alliance as new and in good order for use we enjoyed a very comfortable 3 night stay

Unfortunately the bathroom needed attention, the flooring had damp, mouldy areas, where ud would step out of the bath, we gathered that this was evidence there had been serious leak from behind the bath panel that wasn't a recent event.. the bath panel was not fixed in place, it was loose & looked old & temporary with patches of paint blotches on it Please note and add this info to the description of the cottage amenities A shower over the bath is not appropriate or safe for everyone. Please consider adding the white ""swan cottage 2" has a shower over a deep sided bath..

Just perfect for what I needed - 24hrs away!

Perfect little cottage. A much needed night away with my daughter, but would def go back with my hubby for a few days! Clean, tidy, great location. Facilities as expected

Needs a little bit of TLC (bathroom is clean but needs a bit of decor upgrade) and no info regarding internet, local amenities etc, but manager said has recently taken & is on with info booklet, so that should come!
