The location cannot be any better!! A million stars.
In a square in the middle of the old city surrounded by towers. A few steps from the door you can have a fantastic coffee at Cafe del Erbe. The two-storey-flat was very clean and well equipped.(tip: we wondered where is the cutlery- it is in 2 "hidden" drawers under the table) The instructions and directions were precise (although I did ask questions that were answered in the instructions our host was patient...)
Note that you must parking outside the old city, which means carrying your bagtage uphill. There is an hourly rate, but a maximum of €15 for 24h.
One of us, a lady of close to 70, did not like using the steep spiral stairs connecting the two floors/storeys.
But the apartment has a door at each storey so that you can go up or down through the regular stairs.
