Dream Villa Ahangama

Beatiful room, view, balcony and the owners are very nice people. 100% recommend.

Lovely new place close by to everything but still calm and quiet. Loved the view of the scenery from the balcony. Host was very kind and welcoming.

This was the perfect stay for a solo traveler wanting privacy, comfort, good WiFi, and good location! I felt very safe and cared for during my stay. Chamith was very welcoming and kind and helpful. The place is new and clean. There’s no hot water but that’s pretty standard in Sri Lanka and after long days in the sun a lukewarm / cold shower is the best thing! The WiFi is strong which was great for me having work calls and streaming etc. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and kettle was perfect for self-sufficiency. It’s very quiet around so a good nights sleep is easy. But although quiet and in a little, it’s very close (walking distance) to plenty of lovely restaurants and the beach. And if you don’t want to walk there are Tuks close by as well. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! I’ll definitely come back again!

Only thing I would have liked added would be a fridge. Other than that, the property was perfect! Oh, and the map location is slightly off. It’s on the road of the curry house.

I recently stayed at Dream Villa Ahangama and enjoyed it. Well-located, just a short walk from Kabalana Beach and within walking distance of the railway station. There’s a cute garden, free private parking, and all the essentials you might need. Perfect for one person but can fit two. A convenient choice for a private stay near the beach.

There was no fridge or water heater when I stayed there, but that might be because the place was still new. By the time you book, these may already be in place. It wasn’t a big issue and didn’t change my positive view of the stay—I’d gladly stay there again!
