Really friendly family, you have a shared kitchen and washmachine, which you can use. I was ill and they even gave me ginger and another special tea against a cold.

Das Zimmer mit der angrenzenden großen Terrasse hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die danebenliegende Küche, kann noch mit 3 anderen Zimmern geteilt werden. Diese Zimmer haben kleinere Balkone. Die Küche war groß und war sehr gut ausgestattet. Frühstück und Abendessen kann man dazu buchen und dabei die sri-lankische Gastfreundschaft in Nandenis und Namal Esszimmer eine Etage tiefer genießen. Auch Ausflüge, auf individuelle Wünsche, kann man bei den beiden buchen. So habe ich mich zu dem breiten Strand von Koggala fahren lassen und auch nach Ahangama und Unawatuna., sowie zu einem naheliegenden Tempel. In dem kleinen Gemischtwarenlafen der beiden, an der Straße vor dem Haus konnte man auch das notwendigste noch einkaufen, sowie kleine Souvenirs , Daneben befindet sich ein Restaurant. Booked this place because many reviews said it was underrated, and it is true! Lovely home that is situated amongst a flourishing garden. quaint and quiet, spacious room with great sunlight and comfortable bathroom. It was exactly what i was looking for, away from the main touristy area, with air conditioning and sunlight to stay in and have a slow day. Comfy outdoor lounge chairs as well. The hosts were very friendly and made the stay amazing

Only downside is that because its abit further away from the main touristy areas, there isn’t many food options, you have to walk 15-30 minutes out. But ubereats is an option! this was a trade off i was happy to take on when looking for a more quiet space :) so more of a personal preference!

Really lovely place to stay in Koggala. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, helping with everything, offering me food, and even welcoming me into their home to have breakfast and meet the family. The room itself is also lovely and comfortable, more than you could ever wish for the price. Also right on the beach, but in a nice quiet spot away not far away from Ahangama
