Happy Stay Inn Ahangama

Amazing place, extraordinary comfortable, very clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and welcoming. We had a small misunderstanding with the booking and the number of rooms, even if it was my mistake they offered me a nice small discount when we left. So kind and careful. The special plus, unexpected, is their extraordinary little coffee shop/restaurant offering very good food and drinks at an unseen crazy fair price. I got a delicious real espresso, a homemade carrot juice and an avocado toast for the price of an average avo toast itself in the majority of the other places. They also provide lots of small board games for a chill evening, or while waiting on your meal. Nice attention. Will definitely come back!

Come early, breakfast time might be very busy!

This is a local family house where they run a very cute restaurant Hungry Puppet. The lady of the house cooks the meal and by far it is the best Kotu I have had in Sri Lanka. On the first floor there are 3 rooms which I would say great for a budget traveller. Room size is enough for one person with washroom attached. The entire family is so warm and friendly. They have 2 dogs and 1 cat. So rest assured you guys won’t get bored here. Location is perfect with 3-4 beaches within 2 kms.
