Casa Buena Vista was what the name states and so much more. Not only were the views fantastic and the setting sublime, the accommodations were top tier. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen and dining room facilities were amazing. The bathroom was modern and had good hot water. There was a nice little fireplace/stove to keep warm on the chilly mountain evenings.
As birders, we also enjoyed the numerous birds flitting around the casa. There were figs and flowers to attract them. The view from the front deck of the valley was spectacular.
One minor improvement could be the lighting. A dimmer for the main rooms would be nice. A floor lamp in the living room area for more subtle lighting would be cozy. But really, as is, Casa Buena Vista was fabulous.
