Die Curuba Lodge bietet eine wunderbare kleine "Auszeit" von der anstrengenden Costa Rica-Rundreise mit sonst tropischen Temperaturen. Hier auf 2400 m Höhe ist es angenehm kühl, man braucht endlich mal keinen Mückenschutz und kann so richtig durchatmen. Die Eigentümer sind unheimlich freundlich, bemüht und dabei angenehm zurückhaltend. Die Möglichkeit für Abendessen und Frühstück war toll. Auf dem Balkon unseres Bungalows hing ein Futterspender, der von Kolibris besucht wurde. Eine kleine Idylle mitten in Natur und Bergen.
Alles war super, man muss aber beim Kofferpacken definitiv an eine Jacke oder einen Pulli denken. Im Badezimmer ist es vom Boden her recht kühl, wenn man nicht den Heizlüfter vor dem Duschen mal reinblasen lässt. 😉

The meals, coffee and homemade fruit juice was the best I've had in a long time. The staff Adrian and his wife were kind and very very helpful with our trip and sights to see. Make sure to drive here in the day time, at night the road can be foggy, just go slow.
