Palazzo Doni by Florence Art Apartments

Beautiful palazzo at a great location, very close to everything but away from the crowds. Very spacious and comfortable apartment for us and our one year old baby, fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom with a bidet. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was a little bit of noise from the neighbours next door and some cars/people at night, so soundproofing might need some improvement.

Very stylish clean and room was big.

We had a little problem with mosquitoes but think that was my fault for leaving windows open

Absolutely wonderful, better than expected! The location is great, about 5 minutes from major square, walkable, not too far from the river, but so quiet and peaceful. You are away from the crowds completely. The best location you could hope for in Florence. The bathtub and shower were phenomenal. We ended up staying in one night because we liked the room so much. The view was of the street and other buildings, wasn't bad. The bed was so comfortable! The room (suite) was VERY spacious. Had everything you would need, though we didn't cook at all during our stay. We did use 2-in-1 washer and dryer, and it worked great (after we watched a YouTube video explaining it). Check in/ check out was smooth and very convenient. Someone met us when we arrived and gave us the run down of everything we would need to know. They gave us a thoughtful gift for our honeymoon and that personal touch made the stay so much better! Everything was very clean, looks like the room was just remodeled. Loved the details of the room, like the wooden beams across the ceiling. Water pressure was good. The hallways to get to the rooms were lit up at night making you feel safe. We felt safe the entire time inside the hotel and in the surrounding areas outside. You could walk everywhere from this location. Had robes and slippers. Big tv, mini-fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, coffee machine that we used each morning, sheets were comfortable. Excellent stay. Would recommend to anyone going to Florence.

Quiet and in perfect location to park a car if you needed to. Easy to walk to all the important locations.
