The hosts have done a great job with their chalet on this, somewhat, dated holiday park but please don't let that put you off booking this place! It's very family friendly and an extremely affordable break away to the coast with a young family. The decor is exactly as in the photos and certainly makes you smile as you enter the property, which is extremely easy to find, just off the road and we parked on the verge within meters of, so offloading our luggage etc was very convenient and good communication with the host to access the key safe. The chalet was clean and comfortable with everything you need for a self catering break away. It is a detached property so there's no immediate noise from neighbours. There's ample plates, glasses, cooking utensils, pans and cutlery for a family of 4 and tea, coffee, washing up liquid, salt, pepper, washing tablets, sauces etc in the cupboards. Microwave, toaster, air fryer, under counter fridge with a small freezer compartment. Plenty of games to play if you need to have some family time in the evenings with young children. Young children will adore this chalet, my 14 year old certainly found the chalet to his liking but had to try out all the beds first before declaring which one was theirs 😆 The addition of many soft toys is excellent for children who need a sleep companion away from home. The location is great, just 10-15 minutes walk to the beautiful and vast sandy beach where many a sandcastle can be built with lifeguards present, so please read the coded flags for safe swimming. As you'd expect from a traditional British seaside resort, you'll find amusement arcades and plenty of places to eat and souvenir shops.

As with other reviews, the sofa is very low to sit on but I used the big green cushions to add height to the sofa and used additional cushions from the bedrooms. The double bed in the 'adult' bedroom did make a lot of noise when trying to get yourself comfortable and the mattress was pretty hard and somewhat thinner than that of the equivalent in the children's bedroom but I did sleep ok, ish.

The place was clean and everything was available for us to use. Rooms were cleanand and our kids enjoyed playing with the large toys that were in the chalet. We had a budget and this place made our sea experience beautiful.

To be honest, everything was good. There is nothing i would say i haye about the property.
