78 Florida Holiday Park

The chalet was really nice, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was really close to Beach road and Great Yarmouth. There was a complementary pack of tea bags coffee etc which was nice. Loads of books games and dvds. We've stayed at Hemsby loads of times but would not always return to the same chalet but would definitely return to this one. Nice space in the living room to have breakfast and the oven worked well. They even had items like foil/film/kitchen roll which is very helpful. Overall comfy, spacious and in a great spot with a quiet area and not disturbed.

Location was excellent with parking nearby. Lockbox was easy to locate and access. Chalet was modern with good facilities and equipment. Tv, DVD, games, books. Beds were nice and comfy. Toilet was clean. Nice tea/coffee welcome pack. Outside table and chairs amd washing line.

Cleaning of bath was poor, dirt trapped under rubber mat in bath and plughole full of hair, so much so the shower water did not drain away until we removed it all. We found 2 dirty old socks behind the sofa bed. There was a pot of congealed butter left in the microwave! The sofabed mattress was stained and the bed itself v uncomfortable, no bottom sheet provided for it in the bedding bag either. Property was excellent bar the cleaner. Would stay again 100%.

We stayed here from 6 April to 10 April and overall had a very pleasant stay. The chalet was very clean and well maintained. The bed sheets smelled fresh and nicely washed, while the kitchen and toilet were thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The location was ideal for us, with the beach only around a 15 to 20 minute walk away, making it perfect for relaxing walks and family time. A lovely surprise was the free WiFi, as the booking mentioned there would be no internet. This was especially great for the kids. The property also had plenty of CDs, movies, and games for both children and adults, which made the evenings enjoyable. The host was very helpful and provided great service and support throughout our stay.

The only issue we faced was on the first night when we arrived around 10pm after spending the whole day in Cambridge. It was extremely dark outside because none of the lamp posts seemed to be working. Since there are two entrances to the holiday park, we entered through the main entrance, which was quite far from our chalet, and it was very difficult to find the chalet in complete darkness. Better lighting or clearer directions would make late arrivals much easier and safer.

Kettle didn’t work, but that wasn’t an issue. Can’t say it made any difference to our stay
