78 Florida Holiday Park

We stayed here from 6 April to 10 April and overall had a very pleasant stay. The chalet was very clean and well maintained. The bed sheets smelled fresh and nicely washed, while the kitchen and toilet were thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The location was ideal for us, with the beach only around a 15 to 20 minute walk away, making it perfect for relaxing walks and family time. A lovely surprise was the free WiFi, as the booking mentioned there would be no internet. This was especially great for the kids. The property also had plenty of CDs, movies, and games for both children and adults, which made the evenings enjoyable. The host was very helpful and provided great service and support throughout our stay.

The only issue we faced was on the first night when we arrived around 10pm after spending the whole day in Cambridge. It was extremely dark outside because none of the lamp posts seemed to be working. Since there are two entrances to the holiday park, we entered through the main entrance, which was quite far from our chalet, and it was very difficult to find the chalet in complete darkness. Better lighting or clearer directions would make late arrivals much easier and safer.

Everything was just perfect..didn't want to leave

Lovely location and very easy to get to the festival I was attending in Great Yarmouth. Despite arriving in the grey rainy evening, and seeing the concrete 1950s austere holiday huts, once inside the place was charming. Freshly decorated with clean, modern fixtures and furniture. In the sunny morning, everything looked better outside as well. The lawns were well kept- lots of outside space. Nice and quiet. Very well equipped accommodation with lovely welcome package of tea, coffee and biccies which was super appreciated after a lond drive. The rooms were perfect fo us and our 2 youngest children. DVDs to watch and a couple of board games to play. Parking super easy and plenty of it. Great shower power (always a plus!) Snug and cosy- perfect for a beach holiday!

The layout of the park isn't the prettiest on first glance- concrete block style holiday huts, but actually when the sun is out its all fine. The bar is a bit grim so we didn't go there. Feels a bit like you might be stared at if you're a stranger! The wifi in our accommodation just did not work at all, which is OK if you're on holiday and switching off, but I was there for work so it was really quite tricky as it wasn't even strong enough to send an email. I was worried about the electricity metre but I think we spent £2 for the whole stay (4 nights) so that was not a problem at all! There was a coop and a Chinese takeaway nearby but this seemed to close really early- maybe as it was only May?
