disappointing, especially for the price

pretty house, easy check in

it wasn’t very clean, feels like you’re staying in a lived in room - loofa in the shower, empty products, only small towels provided which also didn’t smell fresh. didn’t have breakfast for this reason bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. advertised as a private en-suite bathroom however the toilet was outside the room and shared which wasn’t expected.

I thought the parking was free, but I was allowed to park on the premises and it was 10€ a day.

Able to get to city by bus, peaceful area

Parking option was not clearly written when booking, wanted to have extra fees of €10 per day. Toilet paper instead of tissue papers for guests use in kitchen. Small changes above will improve guests satisfaction

It was cheap and if you only need an accomodation for 1 or 2 nights it can be okay. Location is fine.

During arrival time coordination, we clarified the booking was for our parents. Soon after check-in, we made a short visit of under 2 minutes and used the bathroom. The hosts called a few minutes later on the phone labeling this “disrespectful,” which we found unnecessarily harsh. The property operates as a private home rather than a guesthouse. Lack of clear visitor rules caused avoidable tension. Also in the room there were a constant musty smell. The hospitality reflects norms that differ from typical European guesthouse standards, so future guests should be aware before booking.

The house is amazing! It has a bus station just near - you can quickly arrive in the center of Brussels by bus from there. The garden is nice and the room was very comfortable. The owners are very kind. I had a very pleasant stay. :)

Economic stay best suited for young people who value budget over comfort

The host was very friendly and available. There was free parking near the facility.

The amenities were not very well curated, no air drier in the room, the towel provided was very small. The WC is outside of the room and shared with other rooms.

Kitchen could be better organized. Not clear where to find things. Did not speak Dutch like it was mentioned on Booking.com. It gave some confusion in the beginning but not a problem at the end.

The perfect stay for a longer time in Brussels/Belgium, very good price/service ratio

Very cozy room, nice house within a quiet neighborhood. The owners were very kind and helpful from day 1, throughout my stay and up until my leave. They were assisting me with some starting knowledge of the area, where I can buy some food, stuff, fill up gas stations, etc. Everything was clean and sanitized, iron for clothes was offered if needed. Each guest gets their own key for their room, so privacy is guaranteed. Good parking possibilities if traveling by car. The city center of Brussels was just some 15 mins drive and near the house were shops, and gas station available. As I arrived late on my first day, a snack bar with some starters was available. More than pleased with the property and the price was much better than the hotels in Brussels. There are even hotels that don't offer this kind of service at place. Strong recommending the property and its owners. Looking to come by again! :)

Not worth it

Close to the airport

Shared a room in someone’s house. The bathroom is down the hall. Not a self check in and I was called multiple times with them bothered that we haven’t gotten there yet. The bedding was terrible. The shower was not clean, the stairs to the room were so steep and narrow, it was scary to walk up without luggage let alone with luggage. The room didn’t get dark at all so the room was bright until 8:30 pm when the sun started to set

L’host ha cercato per quanto possible di salvare il salvabile

La camera era venduta come con bagno privato, in realtà all’interno della stanza c’era la doccia ed il lavandino il WC era in comune con gli altri ospiti messo in un loculo in corridoio Per comprendere c’era solo il Wc con le ginocchia si colpiva la porta e con le spalle le pareti in piedi un uomo di 180 quasi batte la testa mi fermo qui

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour ! La chambre était magnifique, l’endroit calme et reposant, et tout était parfaitement propre. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir merci pour tout !

Ist gut geeignet für ein Nacht nicht weit von Brüssel günstig zu übernachten. Frühstück war in Ordnung für den Preis. Der Besitzer ist nett.

Leider stand in der Beschreibung, dass es eigenes Bad hat, aber mit keinem Wort erwähnt dass es ein WC hat ... Nein, hat es nicht, es ist nur in Treppenhaus ein wirklich sehr kleines WC vorhanden, eins für drei Zimmer. aber ein Bad hat es, ja, Waschbecken und Dusche, kein WC. Die Handtücher haben schlecht gerochen, danach musste mach wieder duschen.

Van het begin we kregen een warm welkom in het huis je mocht de keuken zelf gebruiken en je kon ook de koelkast gebruiken en in de grote kamer had je een waterkoker en allemaal thee smaken je had ook een goed uitzicht op de stad en je had een tankstation en een carrefour dichtbij bij de accommodatie de douche werkte ook heel goed het verblijf was perfect.

Allemaal goed maar jammer dat er geen wc was in de badkamer.

Ponte in Bruxelles, Brugges e Kortenberg

Casa locata in zona tranquilla di Kortenberg. Molto accogliente, camera luminosa, spaziosa e con doccia veramente molto.molto comoda. I padroni di casa sono gentilissimi e cordiali, a loro darei 11!!! Si raggiunge agilmente con la linea s2 in 30 minuti di treno. Veramente consigliato!!!

Niet fancy, maar huiselijk en netjes

De locatie was goed, tussen Brussel en Leuven, goede verbinding. Het huis leek recent gerenoveerd. Het was netjes en comfortabel. Communicatie verliep goed, ook toen ik een vraag had, werd er meteen geantwoord. Het is geen hotel, maar meer een huiselijk gevoel. Niet super fancy, maar helemaal in orde!

Ik was wat ongerust over het delen van een badkamer, maar de wc en het bad zijn in aparte ruimtes. Ging heel goed.

Korte overnachting gedaan om de volgende dag het vliegtuig te nemen op vakantie, samen met dochter en vrouw. Het enige wat we misten misschien was een kinder/babybedje. Voor de rest, was het prijs/kwaliteit echt in orde.

Enkel het babybedje hebben we gemist.

Wat een hartelijke onthaal! Mohar is een geweldige gastvrouw, zo aardig. De kamers zijn ook dik in orde, het hele huis is kraaknet en de tuin is een absoluut pluspunt: een oord om tot rust te komen. In de kamer staat een mandje met allerhande toiletartikelen voor wie bijvoorbeeld zijn tandpasta is vergeten. Handig. Ik ben zo'n type dat wel eens iets durft te vergeten, dus voor mij is dit een dikke meevaller :) Een ander pluspunt is de nabijheid van openbaar vervoer. De bushalte is 4 minuten verderop. Je kan er de bus nemen naar verschillende treinstations. Zicht vanuit mijn kamer: veel groen. Heerlijk!

C’est très bien

L’accueil est parfait, la gentillesse est au service du client. La maison est impeccable, la chambre agréable et la literie ne souffre d’aucun reproche. L’ensemble est spacieux et lumineux ; et les attentions pour le client sont simples et bien choisies. C’est parfait pour une escale reposante.

Quelques tout petits détails de décoration sont à reprendre sur la tapisserie et le fonctionnement complet de la douche. Je n’ai pas réussi à faire fonctionner la télévision, mais cela n’était pas essentiel pour moi. Une seule serviette de toilette me semble peut-être un peu juste.

Er zijn totaal geen faciliteiten het is er zeer gehorig er zit een onverzorgde tuin bij dus als je binnen bent zit je daar opgesloten in je kamer zonder balkon en de dousche wordt ook gebruikt door de bewoners zelf alle kastjes zitten gevuld met persoonlijke verzorgings producten

Schoon en een lekker bed. Lieve gastvrouw.

Het bed was heerlijk . En het was fijn dat de ramen horren hadden en dat je die snachts lekker open kon zetten . Een hele fijne douche en bad! Fijne keuken waar je zelf mag koken en gebruik kunt maken van de koelkast. Je kunt ook koffie en thee zetten als je dat wilt.

Het licht op een rustig plek.

De kamer is sfeerloos, en ik vond het bed er slecht liggen. Ik had niet goed opgelet, bleek namelijk dat de badkamer en wc gedeeld moest worden met andere gasten. Om eerlijk te zijn is dat echt niet meer van deze tijd. Nadeel is ook dat de wc aan mijn kamer grenzende dus de hele nacht andere naar de wc. De kamers zijn erg gehorig dus je hoort dan ook alles.

Soggiorno amichevole

Padrona di casa molto gentile e amichevole, ma allo stesso tempo non invadente. Ci ha lasciato usare la cucina senza problemi. Avevamo a nostra disposizione asciuga capelli e asciugamani. Camera pulita e luminosa. Bagno un po' strettino, ma perché io non sono abituata alla tipologia di casa con wc separato da doccia.

Non mi era ben chiaro che si trattava di soggiornare nella casa insieme ai padroni e non essendo abituata a un esperienza così avrei preferito fosse specificato meglio.

Fiyatı uygundu. Ev sahibi yardımcı olmaya çalışıyordu. Ve her yazdığımızda hızlı dönüş yaptılar. Oda genel olarak temizdi. Ücretsiz Araç park yeri mevcut.

Odaya gittiğimizde oda çok soğuktu. Kaloriferi biz gitmeden açmalarını beklerdik. Çatı katı olmasına rağmen hiç ısıtılmamıştı oda. En azından en düşük seviyede bekletilebilirdi. Gittiğimizde 1 saat odanın ısınmasını bekledik. Odadaki havlular kötü kokuyordu ve çok eskimişti. Odada dolap olsa iyi olurdu. Sadece yatak ve çok ufak bir masa vardı. Tuvalete gittiğinizde ses yalıtımı çok kötüydü iyileştirilmesi lazım. Bir de Hint mutfağına alışık değilseniz yemek kokusu rahatsız edebilir, yemek kokusu için ev havalandırsa iyi olurdu.

Hôtes très accueillants, chambre très confortable et bien équipée - draps, serviettes à disposition, et aussi une paire de chaussons ! Facilement accessible en bus depuis Bruxelles. Endroit pavillonnaire calme.
