Bathroom areas: they were not well cleaned Room: dated with many signs of wear Windows: during heat of summer, inability to open fully reduced needed airflow Compared to my stay at this same property last year, the quality appears to have fallen.

The location was excellent and very convenient for getting around the city. As it is a student residence, the property also felt generally safe and welcoming.

Unfortunately, the photos of the rooms did not accurately reflect their actual condition. There was a strong damp and musty smell throughout the room, particularly in the bathroom, and the towels, bed linen, and overall room cleanliness were not up to an acceptable standard. We even found a spider in one of the beds. We were also informed in advance that staff would need to enter the room for a fire safety inspection. However, while we were getting ready in the room, they entered without giving us enough time to respond or wait for us to be ready. They carried out the inspection and left without even apologising for the intrusion, which made us feel quite uncomfortable and unsafe.
