Sport on Hills queen Rooms

The room was spacious and comfortable but what was the best was the view, where we could see different kinds of monkeys goofing around (sometimes they would come on the balcony but the staff is always ready to chase them away haha. The room was very affordable and on a good quiet location, right next to the starting point for border trekking that we did.

The paint of the room was very bright blue/green and with the white light it's quite intense but that's all and it's not even that important.

Alex was an amazing man who helped us so much, the room was everything you need and located in a nice part of town. Would recommend and return.

Was rather small for two people but never a bad thing, makes you appreciate the space you do have.

Alex is such an excellent, kind and generous host. Nothing was too much both.. including my leech incident. He grows coffee and roasts the beans, you can share a cup with him. We saw all the same animals in his backyard that we saw in the park. NOTE: Periyar is a conservation park, not a safari park. You CANNOT drive in it.. all the jeeps drive around the border (that's why you don't pay a park fee for these trips). There is no way that you will ever see a tiger, leopard or anything other than deer or elephant or gaur. It is a pretty lake and the boat trip is pretty. But if you want to see wildlife up close go elsewhere. The room had a fan, the bed was firm but comfortable, we got a second sheet when we asked. It is excellent value for money... especially as there is so much wildlife..

Like so many places, the bathroom cleanliness could be better.. and someone has kissed the wall next to the mirror whilst wearing makeup.. who does that? A paint would do wonders.
