Fully equipped kitchen, queen bed, outdoor shower, heating/AC, WiFi and private laundry house, guests will find everything they need for a nice stay. Relax on the screened in porch on the swing bed, feed the turtles or explore the historical city just minutes away. Downtown Apalachicola has much to offer from shopping to great food to entertainment and day activities. The beautiful St. George Island beaches are only a 15 minute drive away. Pets welcome with approval.

Turtle Pond is now one of our top 3 places to stay in the area!! We’ve been coming to Franklin Co since the late 60’s, mainly staying on the island.This was such a nice change of scenery but still just a bridge away from Eastpoint (home of our favorite restaurant, The Red Pirate) then one more bridge to the beach. The screened in porch was so peaceful during the afternoon showers. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. My husband caught enough fish for a fish fry for us!! Heather was a wonderful host! I had one question during our stay and she answered within 5 minutes We’re already looking at dates for next year!

This property is beautiful and peaceful. Very cute cottage. We enjoyed watching the turtles, birds, & ducks. Short drive into town! Would stay again for sure!
