About this cottage rental
Fish camp studio style, pet friendly rustic beach cottage & former Oyster house refinery on the bay with a new dock w/ plenty of parking for your boat/trailer. There are crab traps at the dock that you can bait. We have a Yamaha gas powered golf cart that is available to rent for $40 a day as Apalachicola is a golf cart friendly town. Smoking is not allowed inside, but is allowed outside. Please keep the discarded butts from the yard please. ****😀 Amenities include a picnic table, Weber grill, and fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a yard swing for enjoying your time outside. The yard is large with a tropical feel with tropical foliage overlooking the bay. Conveniently located 1 mile from shopping and restaurants downtown.

House trained , well behaved fur babies stay for $25 (one charge for 2). Would like to keep pets at 2 max but will make considerations. The Oyster House has a nice, big yard if you have a furbaby. Just bring a tie out and a runner to keep them off of Hwy 98 as there is no fence. Please clean up waste after pups! 😀

This is a nice laid back town woth alot of good restaurants and beautiful uncrowded beaches. The house is on a protected bay good for fishing and crabbing.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is unbeatable — right on the water with great crabbing and fishing from the dock, and a front‑row seat to an incredible variety of coastal birds. During our visit we saw clapper rails, black skimmers, blue, tri‑colored, and green herons, great, snowy, and cattle egrets, plus Forster’s, royal, sandwich, and least terns.The kitchen was well equipped, including a perfect pot for a crab boil. We also loved how the owner preserved the old oyster house workings in the storage and utility areas. It made the whole place feel genuinely historic and special.The host was responsive, watching the sunrise from the dock was priceless, and staying in such a unique waterfront home made this trip memorable.

The location and the dock are amazing! We had dolphins, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, pelicans and birds galore. Everything was clean and complete.

This place has such potential, however, owners are in another state, and it isn’t being managed to a level suitable for a rental property. Trash in yard which is blown from busy and LOUD Hwy. 98. Windows so dirty you can’t see the view of the bay, which is the only reason to stay here. All the screens are ripped, can’t open any windows to get a breeze. The pipes froze and broke the day before our arrival. No water, chaotic, to say the least. The owner was diligent in getting the pipes repaired. We never did have water pressure during our entire stay.
