My mother and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. It was clean, comfortable, cool in a 30 degree heatwave, lovely shady patio for sitting out, we loved to do this every evening on our return and first thing in the morning, watching the horses and listening to the birds.. Furnishings were so pretty and everything worked as it should. Beds were comfortable. Nice big mugs, tea pots, plentiful crockery, appreciated the dishwasher (but where were the tablets? We had to buy some). Check in was easy with the keybox. Parking was easy right outside the property Gorgeous area with so many pretty villages to visit and lots to do within an easy drive.

Things we missed that we would usually find in self-catering places: rubber mat for shower (it was a bit slippy and quite a high step for my 80 year old mum to get in and out of), salt/pepper, kitchen roll, egg cups Property is approached by a single lane which lasts about half a mile, not good for nervous drivers! We kept all journeys to and fro to a minimum as I was terrified of meeting something! Top tip: Patio furniture is not comfortable - luckily we had read the reviews and brought our own and we were glad we did.

Very peaceful and comfortable place to relax for a couple of days. We had everything we needed and the easy parking right by the door was great. It was nice to be able to spot the horses from our patio. Highly recommended. Catherine was very accommodating and friendly; also she has amazing taste in cushions! The village itself is delightful; lovely to sit on the green overlooking the duck pond.
