Beautiful thatched Dynes Cottage Finchingfield sleeps 10

Dynes Cottage is a beautiful property set in an amazing countryside location. It has a view of fields all round. The interior of the cottage is very well appointed with all the amenities you need.

Not a dislike but just a comment that a sweep of the paved courtyard would have been good, and stopped any transfer off shoes into the property.

Very comfortable, warm and a great size for a large family.

Nothing not to like, we had a great time.

Stayed here last week with my family. 9 of us all together. We had an amazing time! The property is gorgeous and overlooks a field of sunflower's, and only a ten minute walk to Finchingfield village. Perfect quiet location. The kid's absolutely loved the little secret bedroom. And the toy's, puzzle's and book's that are there for them to play with were fantastic. Although most of the puzzles were mixed up in other boxes, but I enjoyed re-organizing them. Even re-organized the book case. But that's just me! It's my zen moment when the kid's were running around playing hide and seek. The kitchen was a perfect size. And we even did a bbq one night. So if you have a big family, and little kid's then this is the house for you. And it wasn't to far to drive to alot of places. We did Headingham castle which I totally recommend. And Audley End House. Also, a little further and you get to Frinton-on -sea which is a lovely beach. So, really, can't recommend it enough.

Nothing really. But if I could make a suggestion. Maybe a stool and vanity mirror in the main bedroom at the dressing table. Also alot more hangers. And some kitchen roll and foil in the kitchen. But otherwise, it was perfect

The house was stunning, beautiful surroundings, it was a real home from home for our family for the weekend. A 10/15 minute walk into Finchingfield which is just lovely. Good parking at the house. Catherine was a great host.
