Loved our stay in Millie’s Cottage. It’s such a lovely little cottage with everything we needed for a week’s stay. The location is right in the centre of Finchingfield, a short walk to 3 pubs and 2 cafes. We hope to return again!

We needed a place for the family to stay near Stansted airport, and this appeared in the search. It's a simply beautiful and comfortable old cottage, near two pubs ( ones up the hill a bit). full of charm and simple and cosy. It has a new oiled filled heating system that as very warm everywhere. Wife loved it, kids were happy and the village is simply picture postcard. Worth staying longer and using this as a base to explore, sadly we was only there a few nights. I made a mistake of reading the hosts key box explanation's wrong, he sent me an email ,saying the keys are in the box. I could not find the box, because he had put after the box code, further down , that you need to go through the gate at the side of the house to get the keys . the key box is at the rear of the property. Charming really, its a place to return to, the Airport is less than 30 mins away. Very happy. I noted that they have a nice garden outside, that would be super if you wanted to sit out in summer

(Not a dislike) I’m not a big fan of the single cup coffee machines, but thank you for the variety to choose.
