Such a disappointment

It was clean

The communication with the host was appalling. The video he sent stopped after the garage piece so we spent 45 minutes looking for our apartment in a building that is still not complete. He then messaged on day 2 to say we were in the wrong apartment and veered from anger and insult to grovelling apologies and an offer of money back.. Something felt very off so giving bank account details for a refund was out of the question. There are beautiful places to stay in Trieste and the city is fabulous. I have no idea how this is getting 10s. Its overpriced for what you get and yes its central but Trieste is quite small so most places are central. Tried ringing him on numerous occasions, especially when the hunt in the cold for our apartment was verging on the ridiculous. Reply was always " Please message.. in hospital with my mum" Might be an idea to have a second person available should such incidents occur in future. Someone else mentioned the WiFi code in a review. Our check in link didnt work so when I messaged to ask for the WiFi code he told us " Its under the router" The router is on the outside of one of the windows so we had to climb on a chair to retrieve it rather than it just being left in the apartment for all to see. Ive waited a week to write this review because I hate giving bad reviews but I value the fact that on bookings.com I can read other people's experiences before I book somewhere. One of his many messages ended on " you know what the joke is... you will leave a bad review and say its all my fault" So here it is!

Great apartment close to centre

Great location in the centre of Trieste, spacious apartment with high ceilings, felt very new, good soundproofing windows, air conditioned, well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, good bathrooms. Lots of storage space in wardrobes and drawers. Easy to get to attractions and transport.

Curtains didn't cover the entire width of the windows and not thick, so not entirely private at night, and let early morning light in. Make sure when booking to ask for 2 bedrooms to be made up if you want to use both bedrooms. I didn't ask, and it took a day for the extra linen to be supplied.

Perfect stay in Trieste - would definitely recommend it and hope to stay there again in future!

Spacious apartment with modern amenities in a historic building. Excellent air-conditioning ideal and double-glazed windows to counter summer heat and any street noise - we slept so well. Situated in a convenient & safe neighbourhood with everything within walking distance - caffe's and grocery store within a few metres. Clear instructions were provided including QR codes in the apt. Friendly host was always available for advice and assistance. This felt like a home away from home that allowed us to live like locals in Trieste. We had everything we needed to self-cater as a family of 4 adults. The breakfast vouchers for Caffe degli Specchi was a really special touch and contributed to the overall value for money. I highly recommend this apartment and wouldn't hesitate booking it again for our next stay in Trieste.

Very good breakfast with a choice from a variety of cuisines (British, American, Lebanese, French, Greek, Asian) in a stylish fin-de-siècle retro café. Some of the café staff did not seem to be fully aware of the breakfast vouchers, but all ended well abd we did not have to pay or do the dishes.

My first experience with having to complete so much personal details of EACH occupant. Also, annoying to transfer a silly amount of the daily residence tax by bank. This 2 Euros per person per day should be payable by cash upon arrival. Wi-fi password should be displayed to be easily/immediately visible, rather than wasting time to examine the modem or read a long page of largely useless info posted on the inside of the door.

Waren sehr enttäuscht der Kurzurlaub war ein Alptraum..

Wir haben die Unterkunft zwar gebucht, haben aber das Appartment nicht bekommen. Angeblich war es schon gebucht. Wir wurden in ein anderes Appartment geschickt. Gebucht 2 Schlafzimmer,1WZ,2 Bäder und Parkplatz...bekommen 1 Schlafzimmer und eine Schlafcouch und Parkplatz 10 Minuten weit weg..Kein Geld zurück...

Sensationelle Lage mitten im Zentrum inkl. Garage. Neu renoviertes Haus und neu renovierte Wohnung. Super Raumaufteilung, sehr groß, 2 Bäder und Toiletten. Sehr sauber. Schnelles WiFi. Jederzeit wieder!

Parcheggio sensazionale!

Il parcheggio privato è spettacolare. Considerando il problema dei parcheggi a Trieste, averno uno sempre disponibile è veramente una cosa ottima. Appartamento bello e confortevole.

La camera singola potrebbe essere adibita a matrimoniale senza problemi, anziché usare il divano letto nel soggiorno, che non ha incorporato il materasso ma si trasforma in letto usando i cuscini del divano stesso.

Die Kommunikation war etwas schwierig und die Klimaanlage war am 1. Tag nicht eingeschaltet, es war aber am 2. Tag behoben.

Neues Appartment in Top-Lage mitten im Zentrum

- Die Lage ist perfekt - mitten im Zentrum und trotzdem kann man in der Nacht gut bei offenem Fenster schlafen. - Das Appartment ist total neu und somit nicht abgewohnt. Es ist alles an Ausstattung vorhanden, wenn man sich selbst versorgen möchte, inkl. Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher. Nett: Es lagen zwei Geschirrspültabs im Schrank. - Das größere Schlafzimmer mit dem Doppelbett verfügt über ein eigenes Badezimmer inkl. WC. Sehr angenehme Matratzen, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. - Frühstücks-Voucher für das Caffé degli Specchi auf der Piazza d'Unità - Größter Pluspunkt: Der dazugehörige Parkplatz, da das Parken in Triest prinzipiell sehr schwierig ist.

Die Frühstücksvoucher haben am Anfang gefehlt, der Gastgeber hat sich aber um eine Lösung bemüht.

毗邻公元前的大舞台遗址，统一广场的旁边，热闹繁华的街道旁闹中取静，崭新的建筑，干净整洁的房间，满足了我们家庭出游的需求。私密的停车库给了我们足够的安全感。

唯一的小遗憾是因为新建筑，网络还没有安装，期待下次来的时候一切完好！

In centro a Trieste si sta proprio bene!

Posizione eccellente in pieno centro a pochi minuti da tutti i luoghi interessanti da visitare. Il tutto con la comodità di un parcheggio in un box privato e chiuso. A pochi minuti a piedi c'è poi il bar dove fare colazione, ma non un bar qualunque, bensì uno storico caffè in piazza unità d'Italia. Pensavo che essendo in centro potesse essere rumoroso invece la via è tranquilla e l'appartamento è ben insonorizzato, quindi si dorme benissimo.

Posizione ottimalde dietro il teatro romano e piazza unità d'Italia; colazione super presso uno dei bar storici; appartamento appena rinnovato e spaziosissimo. Host attento a risolvere subito eventuali problemi insorti. Ottimo soggiorno
