Beautiful views, modern and great host

A few stairs up but great view at the top made it worth while

The apartment itself along with the roof terrace were first class. Owner/host was charming and extremely helpful. However, we would stay here again.

We knew in advance access to the apartment was by stairs but not that there were 75 of them. These were outside and inside the building. Additionally, access to the bottom of those steps was via four extremely steep roadway inclines the last of which was at an approximate 45 degrees angle. We were led to believe a garage was included. This was not so. Parking was only available ‘on street’ and on occasions about 400 yards away. Gas BBQ was defective and of poor condition. Building work being carried out on the outer wall was noisy and disruptive from 7.30am on weekdays.

The house itself is beautiful. It is located not too far from the bars. It was comfortable, very modern and is decorated to a high spec. The host was lovely when we met.

The hot tub! We chose this appartment specifically for the hot tub and we were unable to use it. We mentioned this to the owner. They did send a young boy out to fix this and assured us it was working fine, however, the filter pads are that old they will never work properly. The filter was also fitted incorrectly. When we arrived the water was slimey. This would have been sorted with a new filter pad. Also the temperature doesn't go above 28 degrees, which in the summer might be fine but it was too cold for an evening in May/June. It should be described as a plunge pool rather than a hot tub. I'm afraid it really spoilt our holiday. We could have paid a lot less for a cheaper apartment without a hot tub but decided to spend the extra money for this. After viewing other reviews I can see that the owners had already been told about the hot tub but chose not to sort it out.
