Sunny Side Resort Koh Tao

This feels like a five star stay based on how the staff treat you, and the size of the yurt. The staff could not do more for you, making it such an enjoyable and stress free stay. We were doing a scuba course, and they made everything, including the very awkward morning starts et cetera, really really easy. I know it would’ve been a stressful in any other accommodation. The infinity pool is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, the breakfast was really really good also. Literally nothing negative to say about this place. From start to finish 10 out of 10.

Door when closed had a little bit of wiggling room, bathroom had an airvalve without mosquitonet. insects, little scorpions and geckos had an easy time infiltrating our room. If it werent for the animals it would be an easy 10/10 experience

The dome experience was very unique. It was perfect and we’d really recommend it.

The only suggestion is to have a mini bar or something to purchase basic food and drink. There were shops nearby but probably a 5 min walk so would be ideal to have something on site

The pods are very cool and fun!! The pool was lovely and there was a lot of nature around. The staff were also extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious very nice experience !!

The only thing was the pods heat up a LOT throughout the day so if you have left in the morning and are back later in the day it’s boiling and genuinely unbearable to be in. You have to blast the aircon and leave the door open to let the stuffy air out.
