Quirky domes that were larger than we thought!
The staff were amazing and super friendly and helpful. It is far enough from the main area that you can relax uninterrupted and sleep is undisturbed by the ‘jungle parties’ but close enough that everything is a 5-10 minute walk away. The beds are huge and very comfortable.
We would have liked an on-site bar and somewhere to buy water during the day if you choose to stay and relax by the pool. But the local supermarket is only a 5 minute walk away.

Immaculate room...loved the quirkyness.
Grounds are beatiful. Bonus of a lovely pool which we used at the end of a day out.
Location was walking distance foe everything you need.
Kind enough to lend us snorkels for a boat trip.
Ferry transfers very handy.
Bed super comfortable and huge.
First hot shower in Thailand!! Lovely.
Breakfast was pretty slow and quite a few staff working in the morning. We were usually the early ones for breakfast and it would take about 25 minutes before food served. Ok if you have no plans but bare in mind if going out. Plus it was boiling hot which became uncomfortable eating outside

I loved everything about Sunny Side Resort! My dome was really spacious, everything was so clean and modern. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The domes each have their own outdoor space with seats and they also provide a drying rack so you can hang up your swimsuit/towel/clothes outside your dome to dry. The staff were all really friendly. They provide a free shuttle to and from the pier for arrival and departure which was easy to organise. The pool is lovely with perfect water temperature. The resort is really peaceful and the location is great, away from the noise of all the bars, restaurants and hotels, but still an easy walk (15-20 minutes) to Sairee beach and the diving schools etc. If I return to Koh Tao I will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved the done experience so different to other accommodations! So well equipped and beautifully comfy with everything you could need.
Breakfast was fabulous (some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had!! And the staff were just wonderful.
The pool is also lovely for an early evening swim and it’s a very short walk to the beach and surrounding restaurants
A later shuttle (after 12pm) would be a great added service but otherwise I loved everything!
