Great location, but needs an upgrade.

Location, perfect for access to beach, marina, restaurants and El Corte Ingles (good for grocery shopping). How quickly a kettle was delivered and with a smile. Comfortable bed, qood size. Having a couch and proper table and chairs. Balcony and furnishings, including drying rack.

The apartment needed upgrading. We had visited the hotel during the summer, and felt the apartment didn't reflect the clean, modern look of the hotel. The wardrobe door runner was worn and needs replacing. Generally there were worn places and kick marks on doors and skirting boards. Paint splashes in some places. The fridge door was missing retainers, and icebox door clasp not efficient. Maybe a new fridge is needed. The dishes and saucepans had been washed but not cleaned thoroughly. There was no kettle, but we we given one very quickly. There was no tin opener or corkscrew. There was no stopper in the kitchen sink, so we used the one from the bath (forgot to replace it). A bag of what looked like rubbish had been left under the kitchen sink. We did not touch it, as we were not sure what it contained. Would have liked a towel change as we were there for 7 days. There was no mattress protector under the sheet. There was a pile of extra pillows but no spare pillow cases.

Only good thing about this property is that it’s well located, it is also part of the lovely occidental hotel but BEWARE there is a sign on the back of the door saying you can’t use any facilities or common areas despite the listing showing pictures of them and listing them as features!

Lies on the booking, there is no sea view, no coffee machine/kettle and you’re warned not to use any of the hotel facilities. Awful communication with host, they are extremely unhelpful. The condition of the property is diabolical - paint stains, rusty items, stains and worn surfaces, broken shower and awful musty smell - it needs a complete refurb I would never ever stay here again.

Problematic, unenjoyable, nice location

Location

We are not usually ones to write an unpleasant review, however we are appalled at what we have experienced during our stay (also on our honeymoon). Upon arrival to the property, we tried to use the washing machine. It didn’t work. We contacted the property to which they said someone would come and fix it the next day at 11am. We also had a strobing blue light in the bathroom, a broken towel rail and broken shower hook. Someone from maintenance was sent to fix everything the following day - everything but the washing machine which was the main issue. We were then sent to a different apartment to do our washing - all to turn up there and there wasn’t a washing machine at all. This took up majority of our day trying to message backwards and forwards to get an answer. Let alone having someone in our apartment for half the day, with all of our belongings inside. We then requested to be refunded and move accomodation as this experience was ruining our holiday and wasting our time. We had no response to multiple messages sent for 24hours - and still no response at all regarding fixing the washing machine or being refunded as we had paid for something that simply was NOT provided. Such a sad and disappointing experience when this was our first time in Marbella and like stated above, on our honeymoon.

Location was perfect.

It was a bit dusty especially around the beds. The entrance door was loose and not fixed properly, without sound proof, you can hear people walking by and being noisy. Could use a little update with the furniture and the beds could be a bit nicer a cozier. There was no iron too to iron clothes. Remove the 2 wall lights above the beds and just put a lamp in the middle. Loose the white bar it just looks out of place sitting there for no reason.

the actual apartment was really good and the location is perfect

very unhygienic, floors were dirty, everywhere had dust, toilet had urine stains, even when a cleaner was brought in nothing was changed, all it took was one wipe for stains to come off so that’s how i knew nothing was even cleaned, we were told we’d get early check in but then when we got to the property they said they couldn’t grant early check in
