Plenty of space, storage and lots of useful appliances and utensils. Pool table, lovely terrace and view nice and relaxing
No hand rail on outdoor steps. Rugs were slippery on the floor so had to put them all out of way..could of done with more towels.

Good location and nice setting. Good size rooms. Nice gesture to have a bottle of prosecco on arrival and to have a lot of the kitchen basics and toiletries provided. A lot of nice additions such as good barbecue, 2 fridges, lots of crockery. It was well equipped for a long weekend.
The accommodation generally was sufficient for 10 people but it was unclear that the pool table doubled up as a dining room table. There was mostly bench seating at the table which for any length of time is a strain on anyone older. It may be that most visitors go out to eat which wasn't the case for us with a baby and very small child. In good weather the space is ample as the outside space and seating are good. The neighbours are extremely close so not too much privacy. The downstairs bathroom has to double up as WC for all residents which can be an issue.

Lovely lakeside location in a peaceful setting. The property was a good size for two families and worked well for dogs. We were comfortable overall and enjoyed our New Year break.
Given the price, the property didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of finish and overall presentation. The furnishings felt mismatched, with some items looking tired. The kitchen was a bit over-stocked with plates, utensils etc. which left little cupboard space for guests’ food, and there was burnt-on food in the main oven. We’ve stayed in other properties at a similar price point where everything feels more considered and well maintained, and while we had a pleasant stay and loved the location, we didn’t feel it quite represented good value for money at this price.

Then location was fantastic with a gorgeous view of Isis Lake. Suitable walking conditions for most with clean and well maintained grassland and a flat roads and paths. Easy walking to the De Vere hotel over the road and a very short walk from a coffee shop and bistro which had the best lake view and outdoor seating. The community around the property were quiet and seemed to be made up of personal holiday properties occupied all year round and gave a real 'New England' vibe, white painted and porches against the lakes. The house itself is spacious and we were a party of four couples and three dogs and still everyone had space and somewhere to sit. The dining table was comfortable for 8 and turned into a pool table that got used a lot during the evening after dinner. Importantly the kitchen was well stocked and the cups/dishes/cutlery was ample that even the laziest washer-upper could grab a new mug and not run out. There was a big fridge freezer and a separate fridge for drinks or extra food etc. The downstairs bedroom had a huge bed that was a Super King or twin upon request and had a toilet and shower room next to it. Up some very nicely carpeted stairs were the other 3 bedrooms. On the front of the house there was a nice sized double room with big ensuite shower and toilet, a big family room which had a mezzanine level with beanbags and is a fun spot for the kiddies to gather along with a king size bed and 2 single beds. The family room shares a shower room/toilet with the main bedroom situated across the hall in a Jack and Jill style so can be accessed both sides. This is a big walk in shower (there is no bath at the property) and apart from the landing, access is through the large master bedroom with huge floor to ceiling window to make the most of the lake view. House was lovely and warm with lots of nice personal touches and extremely clean. We were all thoroughly impressed and absolutely we will all be returning soon.
Having to go home.
