Apartment was excellant fantastic views very comfortable

Would have liked some english tv. Steps to property would not be advisable to someone who is not fit and healthy

The view was fantastic, no doubt about it. The pool area was decent, but some of the beds were broken!

I don't normally send reviews, but I feel I have to after the way we were treated by the owner. Firstly we had a kettle that was tripping the electric off. I got in touch with the owner who was out of the Country, so we had to wait 3 days until she was back until she brought another kettle. Not really a big issue tbh. Then the Internet went down, again not too big an issue as not her fault. We locked our keys in the apartment by mistake so contacted the owner who kindly came and let us in. But if she'd still been out of the Country, no idea how we'd have got in! Needs something in place for any issues for when she isn't around. Then on the next to the last day I lifted my case from beside the bed and noticed a damp patch behind the bed. I checked the other side and there was also some black spots. I had noticed a bit of a damp smell and felt the bed was also damp. When removing our clothes to pack they did smell a bit. Also in the wardrobe the hoover and mop bucket were stored and hoover parts in one of the drawers, therefore we were unable to use these. The other drawers were very stiff when opening too. One of the sliding wardrobes didn't close properly. When using the washing machine you cannot open the door fully because of the toilet! The shower is tiny, powerful, but very dated. So when we were leaving I mentioned the damp behind the bed and I'd noticed a little bit beside the sofa in the living room to the owner and sent her a couple of photos just to let her know. Well the abuse I received back from her has been awful. She said we have damaged her property because we didn't leave doors open! Although we did when we were in the property. She has accused us of damaging her wardrobe and trying to charge us €300! I've noticed on other people's comments if they are negative the owner fires back at everyone. I know this is going to receive alot of bad comments from the owner.

The apartment is very clean, cozy, and well maintained. It has a lovely view of the pool and the sea, and the kitchen is equipped with most of the things needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, this apartment felt warmer and more comfortable than many rental apartments we have stayed in, and we genuinely liked it. We would recommend it.

Some aspects of the communication with the host could have been more supportive and collaborative. Shortly before check-in, there was confusion regarding a refundable cash deposit that was visible to the host but not reflected in our Booking.com booking details or PDF confirmation. The initial tone felt defensive and accusatory rather than fact-finding, which made it time-consuming and stressful to clarify the situation. Although the cash deposit was ultimately returned, the way the matter was handled caused unnecessary stress and ongoing uncertainty around the cash deposit both before arrival and during the stay.
