About this house rental
Set among native trees between Blairgowrie’s front and back beaches, this architecturally designed one-of-a-kind home is all about space, light & connection to the outdoors. Expanses of glass invite the landscape in, while warm timber finishes keep the home feeling grounded and intimate.
It’s the kind of place where you arrive, exhale, & instantly feel on holiday.
Sleeping
The home comfortably accommodates families or groups across three generous bedrooms:
• A peaceful master suite with king bed and private ensuite
• A queen bedroom with soft natural light
• A spacious third bedroom designed with families in mind — two bunk beds with trundles (sleeping up to six), plus its own TV and a charming loft nook perfect for kids
Whether you’re travelling with little ones, teens or a mix of adults and children, there’s space for everyone to settle in.
Living
The heart of the home is the open-plan living and dining area. A custom ash timber dining table seats 6–8 for shared meals and good conversation.
Sink into the feather-down sofa, light the fire in winter, or open the doors in summer to let the sea breeze drift through. A 65” TV, Bose sound system, board games and a curated DVD collection make evenings in just as appealing as heading out.
Kitchen & Everyday Comfort
The kitchen is well equipped and designed for gathering — with quality appliances, a large island bench and everything you need for relaxed breakfasts or simple dinners after a day at the beach.
A full laundry with washer and dryer makes longer stays easy.
Outdoor Living
Step onto the expansive deck for outdoor dining beneath the trees. There’s an eight-seater table, BBQ and an outdoor shower for sandy feet after the beach.
You can hear the ocean from here — a gentle reminder that you’re only moments away from the back beach at the end of the street.
Location
The Glass House is ideally positioned between the ocean beach and the calm bay. Blairgowrie village is an easy 15-minute walk for coffee, provisions and casual dining.
Local wineries, golf courses and the renowned Peninsula Hot Springs are all within easy reach, making this a beautiful base for exploring the Mornington Peninsula.
Getting Around
Most essentials are within walking distance, though a car or bikes are recommended to explore the Peninsula fully, as public transport is limited.
