So close to Chartres cathedral and so quiet. We loved the space as it was cosy and comfortable.
The steps were a bit of a challenge especially getting luggage up and down! The toaster was faulty and blew the fuses and was not replaced during our stay. The oven needed re setting as a consequence of the power outage and the beeping annoying - staff slow to advise how to reset.

The location was exceptional - right at the cathedral & with a view of the steeples from the kitchen attic window. The space is so unique: in a medieval structure, up a very narrow spiral staircase into the high timber-beamed attic which is newly renovated with lovely quaint decor. Ladder leads to the comfortable loft mattress. Full kitchen incl kettle & coffee pot (bring your own coffee/tea).
The access wouldn’t be suitable for people with large suitcases or who are large themselves or have difficulty with stairs. Children would have to be well supervised.

Phantastische Lage, liebevoll ausgestattet, offensichtlich frisch renoviert, aussergewöhnliche Location! Am Abend konnte man die Lightshow an der Kathdrale vom Zimmer aus verfolgen-grossartig!
Der Eingang war so, dass wir fast wieder umgedreht hätten-mit einem grossen Koffer und schlecht zu Fuss kann man das Appartment nicht erreichen! Wir waren aber dann positiv überrascht und froh, dass wir dran geblieben sind!

Le charme, les balancoires, les confiseries en petites attentions, l'emplacement juste à côté de la cathédrale
Il fait un peu chaud dans la chambre sous le toit, et on entend quand même pas mal les cloches. Le lit un peu petit
