It was hard taking a shower we are on our 60 couldnt lift our leg that high getting in and out of shower then nothing to hold on in th shower

It's located in a substandard neighborhood.... (Shooting down the road while we were touring the place) .. The pictures portray a much larger area, inside and out, than what it actually is. There is NO yard and you are cramped up to neighbors playing loud music. If you bring a dog, there is no place for him to play outside..... as it appears in the pictures to have a big fenced yard and a good distance from other houses. It was horribly moldy, musky smelling and I took a headache within 10 minutes of being there The staircase is very steep with very narrow steps. The banister is loose from the wall at the top of the stairs where you really need it. Going down for an older person was a nightmare. Water was standing in the rusty, dirty looking bathtub downstairs. I contacted the manager immediately and told him I had COPD and could not stay in the moldy environment. I apologized and asked for a refund so we could find another place. He replied that it was fine that he had someone wanting it for that weekend anyway. I have not heard from him or booking.com since (whom we have used for many years and always had a wonderful experience with). If this cannot be resolved, however, I will find another company to book from. From my experience, DO NOT book from Madison Manor. The interior decor was modern and clean but the smell, stairs and neighborhood was not adequate for my age and health conditions. There was also a "for sale" sign in front of the house in case anyone is interested to buy.

Cute and comfortable home. Very cozy. Location within walking distance from downtown.
