This historic home has been wonderfully renovated and furnished to create the perfect place for your whole family to gather, connect, relax and rest. With plenty of room for the entire family to get together, and also enjoy an amazing nights rest on one of 5 super comfy and stylish beds. It features a massive great room with two full sofas, two comfy sitting chairs and a 72” TV. It also has two large dining tables and a bar so everyone in the family has a seat at the table. Plus a huge yard!
The Space:
The space is so peaceful, thus the name “Beit Shalom” (House of Peace). So spacious, stylish and comfy!
3 bedrooms upstairs with 5 comfy 🛌’s (King, Queen, 1 Twin w/ 1 trundle underneath), 2 stylish 🛀’s (1 upstairs/ 1 down). Plus a landing upstairs/ 2nd living area with a full size day bed, 50” 📺 & dedicated work space. It also has YUGE family room with two full size sofas, two comfy sitting chairs & a 70” 📺, two large dining tables, bar seating, ☕️ bar, huge covered front porch, huge shaded yard with massive 🌳’s, great neighborhood, amazing furnishings, what more could you ask for?

The Neighborhood:
Super quiet, established neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown dining, biking trails, shopping and parks, as well as a local favorite, Barnett’s Dairyette... 5 minute drive to JBU.

The house and hosts were exactly what we needed. We had a special event and needed to host a small reception after and Beit Shalom was perfect. Plenty of room but still felt homey. Todd was proactive before the stay and responsive during it. Couldn't have been better!

This house had plenty of space for us, and the property manager was easy to communicate with. A few things would have made our stay 5 stars: there was a musty smell and spiders in the house (what do you expect in an old house?!), and furniture is very outdated. The price is good for all the space, and the property manager went out of his way to dip off a candle to make our stay comfortable.

The home is just an old house that has been moderately updated. King bed slopes (as does the floor) & 1 trundle was missing a wheel. It was clean, but no real outdoor space as little/no furniture to sit on outside, grill was filled w/a bird or squirrel nest & wasps, & yard was just weeds. Pictures are way nicer than actual furniture/interior. Did not get check in info until we were traveling & a little over an hour away. Kitchen is like a very small apartment-coffee maker did not work. Just basically a place to sleep, not really hangout. Would not rebook.
